At TI metals, we see our clients as partners.
Our aim is to build long-term business relationships. Our priority is to act responsibly, proactively and transparently, building relationships that benefit everyone involved.
TI Metals has its registered office and operational headquarters in Switzerland (company identification number CHE-335.927.040), and all our activities are therefore subject to Swiss law.
As a precious metals business, we operate within the regulatory framework established by: the Federal Act on the Control of the Trade in Precious Metals and Precious Metal Articles (Precious Metals Control Act), under which the Central Office for Precious Metals Control sets out the procedures for importing and exporting precious metal articles;
the Federal Act on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing in the Financial Sector (Anti-Money Laundering Act, AMLA), under which we are classified as financial intermediaries and are therefore subject to the FINMA Anti-Money Laundering Ordinance (AMLO-FINMA).
As required by the Anti-Money Laundering Act, we are affiliated with PolyReg, an independent self-regulatory organisation (SRO) recognised and authorised by FINMA, the competent authority for anti-money laundering supervision.
An annual audit by an independent auditor approved by SRO PolyReg certifies our compliance with Swiss regulations. All audit reports are available to our partners.
TI Metals fulfils its due diligence obligations—including knowing its clients, verifying their identities and retaining client records—while placing great importance on discretion and respect for privacy.
Ongoing training for our management team enables us to keep our due diligence procedures up to date with the latest regulatory requirements, which require us to collect, verify and retain all information relating to the counterparty (identification) and the existing or proposed business relationship.
Establishing a new business relationship is subject to the collection and verification of the documents requested by our team on a case-by-case basis.
All information provided will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and protected in accordance with Swiss data protection law.
